Who we are
NEX2 is a proposed contemporary South African apparel brand. This website presents collection previews and lets you contact the NEX2 team. We aim to handle personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This notice is not a certification of legal compliance.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries (contact form): name, email, optional phone and company, enquiry type, collection interest and your message. Used to reply to you.
- Launch waitlist: name, email and optional collection interest. Used only to tell you about confirmed launch news, based on your explicit opt-in.
- Partner applications: contact name, email, organisation, optional phone, region and website, and your proposal. Used to assess the partnership.
- NEX2 assistance handoff: if you choose to ask the team, your name, email, request and, only if you tick the box, the chat so far.
- Consent records: the date you confirmed this notice, the notice version and whether you opted in to marketing updates.
What we do not collect
We do not take orders or payments. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Conversations with NEX2 assistance are not stored unless you choose to send them to the team. Questions you type into the assistant are processed by an AI service provider to generate an answer and are not saved by NEX2.
Marketing
Marketing updates are optional and separate from your enquiry. We only record an opt-in when you tick the marketing box. You can withdraw at any time by sending a privacy request.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Submissions are stored in a secured database run by our hosting provider. Only NEX2 team members with an assigned admin or staff role can view them, and that access is enforced by the database itself. Short-lived, anonymised network identifiers (one-way hashes) are kept for up to a day to prevent spam and abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and applications for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and delete them on request unless we need to keep a record for a legitimate reason we will explain to you.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or object to its use. Send a request through the contact form and choose Privacy request. We may need to confirm your identity before acting.
